PE Cover SupervisorAre you a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience in education, or a qualified PE teacher seeking flexibility in your schedule? Aspire People are looking for enthusiastic and motivated PE Cover Supervisors to support schools across Manchester on a day-to-day and short-term basis.
About the Role:
As a PE Cover Supervisor, you will be stepping into PE lessons when regular staff are unavailable. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in diverse school settings, develop your teaching skills, and build valuable connections within the education sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage PE lessons for students aged 11-18 in the absence of their regular teacher.
* Deliver lesson plans and ensure a productive, safe learning environment.
* Engage students with physical education activities, fostering a positive attitude toward health and fitness.
* Maintain classroom discipline and uphold school policies.
Ideal Candidate:
* UK Degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field, or qualified PE teaching status (QTS).
* Experience working with young people, ideally in a sports or educational setting.
* Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work across different schools in Manchester.
Additional Information:
