Are you passionate about inspiring young children to be active, healthy, and confident through physical education? Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School PE Teacher to join a well regarded London based school
About the Role:
As a PE Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that promote physical development, teamwork, and a love for sport. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality PE sessions across all primary year groups, ensuring children develop fundamental movement skills, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude towards fitness.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver a varied and engaging PE curriculum in line with the national curriculum.
Inspire pupils of all abilities to participate in physical activity and develop healthy habits.
Organise and oversee school sports clubs, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote physical education across the school.
Maintain and manage PE equipment and resources.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
Experience teaching PE at the primary level (preferred but not essential).
A strong knowledge of the national curriculum for PE.
A passion for promoting physical activity and well-being.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
The ability to motivate and inspire pupils of all abilities.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
