Location: HandsworthPosition: Part-Time PMLD Teacher (Must have Qualified Teacher Status)
Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
Hours: 08:45 AM - 15:50 PM (with potential to work until 17:00 PM on Wednesdays for meetings and training)
Are you a dedicated and compassionate educator with experience in teaching students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)? We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic PMLD Teacher to join our supportive and vibrant team at our school in Erdington.
As a PMLD Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and support to our students with complex needs.
Your role will involve planning and implementing individualized education programs, fostering a positive learning environment, and collaborating with a team of professionals to ensure each student's development and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver engaging, tailored lesson plans for students with PMLD.
* Use a range of teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and support in the classroom.
* Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and external agencies to support student progress.
* Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in teaching students with PMLD.
* Qualified Teacher Status qualification
* Hoisting trained (or willingness to complete training).
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and families.
* A patient, empathetic approach with a commitment to inclusive education.
