Job Role: QTS Design & Technology Teacher for a Secondary School in Stoke-on-Trent.Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
Position: Full-Time
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

Aspire People are working with a well-established secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent to find a creative and dedicated QTS Design & Technology (DT) Teacher to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher who is eager to inspire students and contribute to their growth in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Design & Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that motivate students and foster a passion for DT.
Develop and implement practical and theoretical learning experiences that meet the needs of all learners.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress and achievement.
Collaborate with colleagues in the department to create resources and improve curriculum delivery.
Support students in their personal and academic development, encouraging independence and creativity.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level.
Be passionate about Design & Technology with a strong understanding of the subject across a range of specialisms (e.g., product design, resistant materials, systems and control).
Have the ability to inspire and engage students, helping them develop both practical and theoretical skills.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be committed to professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practice.
