About the Role:
As an English Teacher at this school, you will play a key role in shaping the academic and personal growth of students, delivering high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum. The successful candidate will be passionate about literature and language and have a strong commitment to supporting students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective lessons in English to secondary school students.
Plan and prepare lessons that meet the needs of students across Key Stage 3 and 4.
Assess, track, and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and intervention where necessary.
Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and contribute to the wider school community.
Participate in school meetings, CPD, and other professional development activities.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A strong passion for teaching English and inspiring students.
Experience teaching English at a secondary school level is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive, flexible, and dedicated approach to teaching.
