About the Role:
As a Science Teacher at this school, you will deliver lessons that engage and challenge students across Key Stage 3 and 4. You'll have the opportunity to foster a love of science and help students develop essential scientific skills, preparing them for their GCSEs and future educational paths.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
Tailor lessons to meet the diverse needs of students, ensuring that each student is supported to reach their full potential.
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
Manage classroom behavior effectively, maintaining a positive learning environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the delivery of the Science curriculum.
Participate in staff meetings, CPD, and contribute to the wider school community.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
A genuine passion for teaching Science and inspiring young minds.
Experience teaching Science at secondary level is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching.
