Aspire People are currently seeking a resilient and adaptable Qualified Teacher to join one of our client schools, a specialist secondary school focused on supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, trauma, and challenging behaviours.About the Role:
This is a full-time position where you'll play a vital role in the lives of pupils facing unique challenges. The school prioritises small class sizes, a practical curriculum, and offers alternative accreditations to support each student's individual journey. As a Qualified Teacher in this role, you'll work closely with students, adapting to their specific needs, and creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and practical lessons that align with the school's curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere to help students feel safe, understood and encouraged.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
* Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to provide the best possible support for each student.
What We're Looking For:
* A Qualified Teacher with experience working with students with SEMH needs is preferred.
* A candidate who is adaptable, understanding, and patient, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* An individual who is committed to making a positive difference and can bring resilience and dedication to the role.
