Religious Education (RE) Teacher - Long-Term OpportunityLocation: Heywood, Rochdale (Multi-Academy Trust)
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Paid to Scale
Aspire People are looking for an inspirational Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join a dynamic Multi-Academy Trust in Heywood, Rochdale. This is a long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Role:
* Deliver high-quality RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Inspire curiosity, debate, and critical thinking among students.
* Encourage respect and understanding of different faiths and worldviews.
* Contribute to curriculum planning and the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
✔ Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
✔ Have experience teaching RE to a high standard.
✔ Be passionate about engaging students in meaningful discussions.
✔ Have strong classroom management skills.
✔ Be committed to supporting students' academic and personal growth.
Requirements:
📌 DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
📌 Ability to provide two years of references.
