Role Overview:
As the School Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning school environment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the site maintenance, managing facilities, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. You will work closely with school staff and external contractors to support the smooth operation of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of school buildings and grounds.
Conduct regular inspections of the premises and report any issues or repairs needed.
Oversee the management of site security, including monitoring access and emergency procedures.
Coordinate and liaise with external contractors for repairs and maintenance work.
Assist with setting up and taking down equipment for school events and activities.
Maintain inventory of supplies and manage budgets for site maintenance.
Support the implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience in a site management or maintenance role, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of building maintenance and repair work.
