Aspire People are looking for a dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school in South Birmingham.
About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to inspire and motivate students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. As a Science Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons, fostering a love for science, and supporting students to achieve their potential. You will work within a dynamic and collaborative team, ensuring that students are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in their studies and beyond.
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, engaging science lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to inspire a passion for science.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to support their academic development.
Foster a positive learning environment where students feel supported and motivated.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the science curriculum.
Participate in school activities, including extracurricular clubs, parents' evenings, and staff development.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in a relevant science subject.
Passion for teaching and a commitment to inspiring students.
Experience teaching science at secondary level (desirable but not essential).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Enhanced DBS check required (can be processed through Aspire People).
