Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring all students are supported to achieve their full potential.
Plan, prepare, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of diverse learners.
Promote a strong understanding of scientific principles and encourage students to develop a love for the subject.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with the Science department and other staff to develop curriculum initiatives.
Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the overall development of the school community.
Key Requirements:
A recognised teaching qualification (QTS) and experience teaching Science at secondary level.
A deep passion for Science and the ability to make complex concepts accessible to students.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
The ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
A commitment to student welfare, safeguarding, and personal development.
