Role and Responsibilities:
Teach Science across Key Stage 3 and 4, delivering lessons that cover Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
Develop engaging and effective lesson plans that promote scientific thinking, practical skills, and a love for learning.
Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration in science.
Work closely with colleagues in the Science department to deliver a consistent and high-quality curriculum.
Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as science clubs, trips, or STEM-related events.
Provide pastoral support where needed and build strong relationships with students.
Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Science teacher with a degree in a relevant subject (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
Passionate about Science and committed to delivering inspiring lessons.
Experience teaching Science at secondary level (Key Stage 3 and 4).
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in the learning process.
Excellent communication and team-working abilities.
Proactive, positive, and adaptable, with a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
