Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Science lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4.
Inspire and engage students through innovative teaching methods and practical demonstrations.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Contribute to the development of the Science curriculum and extracurricular activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and dynamic Science department.
Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Degree in a relevant Science discipline.
Experience teaching Science at Key Stages 3 and 4.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
Experience using technology in the classroom.
Ability to inspire a love of Science in students.
Commitment to continuous professional development.
Willingness to participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
