The Role:
As a Science Teacher, you'll be responsible for teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You'll have the opportunity to inspire students with your passion for science and encourage them to explore and understand the world around them. Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
Differentiate lessons to ensure they meet the needs of all learners
Foster a love for science and inspire students to achieve their full potential
Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support
Collaborate with colleagues in the science department to share best practices and improve teaching strategies
Contribute to extracurricular activities and events that promote the subject and the school's ethos
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff to support student progress and well-being
About You:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Early Career Teachers (ECT's / NQT's) are also invited to apply!
Strong knowledge and passion for science, ideally with experience teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities
A creative, proactive approach to teaching with a commitment to continuous improvement
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4 (experience teaching at A-Level is a bonus, but not essential)
