About the Role:
Aspire People, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking reliable and dynamic Secondary Cover Supervisors for exciting opportunities in Aldridge. This role is set to begin in September and will be ongoing, providing a stable and rewarding position supporting students and teachers.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
Ensure students remain on task with the work set by the absent teacher.
Maintain a positive and orderly learning environment.
Follow the school's behavior and discipline policies.
Support students' learning and respond to any questions they may have.
Liaise with teaching staff to ensure that lesson plans are effectively delivered.
Provide feedback to teachers about student behavior and engagement.
Requirements:
Experience working with secondary school students in an educational setting.
Strong classroom management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
