📚 Position: English Tutor (SEN Secondary)
⏳ Contract: Full-time
💰 Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Are you an experienced English Tutor with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs (SEN)? We are looking for a dedicated English Tutor to join a specialist SEN secondary setting in Chesterfield.
Requirements:
✅ Must drive - travel between settings may be required.
✅ UK experience teaching English in an SEN setting.
✅ Experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, SEMH, and other learning needs.
✅ A DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
✅ A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
Your Role Will Include:
🔹 Delivering engaging and tailored English lessons to students with SEN.
🔹 Adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
🔹 Supporting students with literacy development and confidence-building.
🔹 Working collaboratively with SENCOs, support staff, and therapists to implement EHCPs.
🔹 Creating an inclusive, positive, and supportive learning environment.
