Do you have experience working within SEN settings or care environments? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an SEN Residential Support Worker.

Hours: Full-time, including weekend work on a rota basis

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and support to students with a range of SEN needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and behavioural challenges.
Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and the implementation of individual care plans.
Promote independence and encourage positive behaviour through tailored support and interventions.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and progress of each student.
Participate in weekend work on a rota basis to ensure consistent and continuous care.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Safeguard the welfare of students, adhering to all safeguarding policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Must be a driver with a valid UK driving license.
Proven experience working with SEN students, preferably within a residential or SEN school setting.
Background in care or a related field is essential.
Strong understanding of SEN and the challenges faced by students with additional needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting young people.
