Job description
Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team, supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting. This full-time position is based in Leamington Spa and is set to start in September.Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group support to SEN children, assisting them with their academic, social, and emotional development.
Work closely with the classroom teacher and SENCO to implement personalized learning plans.
Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents.
Assist with classroom management and behavior support.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with SEN children in an educational setting.
An enhanced DBS check on the update service.
A strong understanding of different SEN conditions and strategies to support students effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's development.
