Job description
Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join a vibrant Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision in Leamington Spa. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a small group of children, providing tailored educational support to meet their individual needs.Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons for EYFS students with special educational needs.
Create a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters the development of each child.
Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary.
Collaborate with support staff, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for each child.
Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and manage classroom behavior effectively.
Stay up-to-date with SEN best practices and EYFS curriculum requirements.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one prior to start date)
Experience with EYFS and a strong understanding of the curriculum and development milestones.
Proven experience working with children with special educational needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
A compassionate and patient approach to teaching and learning.
