Job description
Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?We are looking to appoint confident specialist teachers to a Specialist SEMH Through School in the Shrewsbury area. The school caters to the needs of pupils with Social, emotional and mental health needs as well as some complex needs, learning difficulties and communication difficulties.
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
* Deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students aged 7 to 19.
* Foster a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff.
* Implement personalized learning plans and track student progress.
* Build strong relationships with students, encouraging their emotional and social development.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Special Educational Needs.
* Experience working with students who have social, emotional, and mental health needs.
* Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to teaching.
* The ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles.
* A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.
