Job description
SEN Specialist Teaching Assistant - KidderminsterAspire Agency is seeking experienced SEN Specialist Teaching Assistants to join schools in Kidderminster. We are looking for highly skilled professionals with a strong background in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN). This is a long-term, ongoing role with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
Role Details:
* Location: Kidderminster
* Hours: 5 days per week, term-time only
* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract Type: Ongoing temp-to-perm opportunity
* Transport: Must drive, as there is no public transport to the location
What We're Looking For:
* A strong background in SEN, with extensive experience supporting children with additional needs
* Experience in Makaton Pecs
* Happy to do personal care
* A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to working with students
* The ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
* Experience with EHCPs, behaviour management strategies, and communication tools such as Makaton or PECS is desirable
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
