SEN Teaching Assistant, Full-Time - TamworthPosition: SEN Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing
Working Hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm
Location: Tamworth
Do you have a passion for shaping a child's early learning experience? Are you equipped with the skills and patience to support a child with speech and language difficulties?
We are seeking a committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to become part of our caring and dedicated Reception team. In this role, you will provide personalised support to a child with speech and language needs, helping them succeed in both their academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver one-to-one support to a child in Reception, with a focus on developing speech, language, and communication skills.
* Collaborate with teachers and speech therapists to implement personalised learning plans.
* Promote confidence, independence, and social engagement.
* Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that supports learning and growth.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children, especially in early years environments.
* Understanding of speech and language support techniques (previous experience is advantageous).
* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities.
* Strong ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to aid the child's development.
