Are you an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in Rushden? Aspire People is currently recruiting for talented and dedicated SEN TAs to join our supply team, supporting students with diverse learning needs in local primary schools. Key Information:
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (Supply)
Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire
Hours: Full-time or Part-time - Flexible working hours
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with a range of SEN (e.g. Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Physical Disabilities).
Assist the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and adapt activities to suit individual learning needs.
Support students with personal care, where required, in a compassionate and professional manner.
Help monitor students' progress and assist with their social, emotional, and academic development.
Foster an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning environment for all pupils.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), either in a school setting or through previous roles.
Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the specific needs of students.
A proactive, caring, and patient attitude, with a genuine desire to support students in achieving their best.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) would be an advantage but are not essential.
