Job Description:
Aspire People are currently seeking a talented and passionate Spanish Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in South Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to inspire students and foster a love for the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures. The successful candidate will be dedicated to helping students excel and progress in their language studies while contributing to a positive, dynamic school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Spanish across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective lessons.
Encourage students to develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in Spanish.
Monitor and track students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
Motivate students to achieve their academic potential and grow in confidence.
Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as language clubs or cultural events.
Collaborate with colleagues to promote high standards of teaching and learning across the school.
Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Spanish at secondary school level.
Passionate about the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
Flexible, creative, and committed to continuous professional development.
