SEN Teacher - West MidlandsFull-Time | Permanent or Long-Term Contract | Immediate Start or September 2025
Location: West Midlands - Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Sandwell, and surrounding areas
Salary: £150.00 - £200.00
Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for a new challenge in the West Midlands? Do you have experience supporting children with complex needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and global developmental delay? Are you flexible and confident teaching in diverse and inclusive learning environments?
We are currently recruiting a qualified SEN Teacher to join specialist provisions and inclusive mainstream schools across the region. This role is ideal for a teacher who thrives on making a difference and can adapt to meet the needs of every learner.

About the Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
* Plan, deliver, and assess differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with EHCPs
* Teach pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs
* Work closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff to provide a consistent and supportive learning experience
* Monitor and support emotional wellbeing and behaviour management using a trauma-informed and child-centred approach
* Liaise with SENCOs, therapists, and external agencies to ensure pupils receive the support they need
* Maintain a nurturing, structured classroom where pupils feel safe, supported, and valued

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / PGCE)
* Proven experience teaching children with SEN, either in a special school or mainstream setting
* A solid understanding of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other complex needs
* Strong classroom management and adaptive teaching strategies
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
* Flexibility to travel across school sites in the West Midlands
* A valid enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
