We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Supply SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Northampton. As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work in various schools across the area, supporting students with diverse needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in delivering tailored support to students with SEN in various subjects.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with a range of learning and behavioural needs.
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
Support the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
Ensure that each student's individual needs are met, encouraging their independence and confidence.
Follow and adhere to school policies and safeguarding procedures.
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children with SEN (desirable but not essential).
A compassionate and patient approach to supporting students.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
A willingness to adapt and be flexible in different school environments.
A DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
Ideally, some relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA qualification, but not essential).
