Salary: Outer London MPS - UPS (£36,413 - £53,994)

Teacher of Chemistry - the school:

The Science department is highly-regarded within the school with all three divisions seeing a high uptake at A Level. The school regularly put their pupils forward for extra-curricular STEM activities and are looking for a fantastic teacher to help lead on this.

Teacher of Chemistry - the role:
As a Teacher of Chemistry, you will:
* Deliver inspirational and well-structured lessons across KS3-KS5
* Engage and challenge students of all abilities, ensuring progress through differentiated teaching.
* Use formative and summative assessments effectively to track student performance and adapt teaching strategies.
* Contribute to intervention programmes, revision sessions, and Maths clubs to support pupil progress.
* Collaborate with the high-performing Science department to share best practices and develop the curriculum.
* Participate in whole-school initiatives, such as STEM events, competitions, and enrichment activities.
Teacher of Chemistry - requirements:
* UK QTS
* Undergraduate UK degree in Chemistry or a related field
* Excellent subject knowledge
* Enthusiasm for teaching and the drive to help every student succeed
* Experience teaching A Level Chemistry is desirable
* Excellent behaviour management and the ability to create a positive learning environment
* ECTs are encouraged to apply - the school offers a fantastic induction programme with mentoring support
