We are seeking an ambitious Teacher of Mathematics to join a thriving department at a well-regarded secondary school in Bromley. Teacher of Maths - responsibilities:
* Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with the possibility of teaching A Level for the right candidate)
* Support students' progress through differentiated teaching and the use of innovative teaching strategies
* Manage the classroom environment effectively, fostering a positive and focused learning atmosphere
* Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and appropriate interventions
* Collaborate with colleagues in the Mathematics department to ensure a cohesive and progressive curriculum
* Contribute to the development of the school's Mathematics curriculum and teaching resources
* Take an active role in extracurricular activities, including Mathematics clubs or competitions, to further inspire students
Teacher of Maths - requirements:
* A strong academic background in Mathematics (a degree in Mathematics or a related field)
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A passion for teaching and the ability to engage and motivate students in mathematics
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* The ability to differentiate lessons to cater to a wide range of learning abilities
* A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
* A dedication to the professional development of themselves and others
