About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Maths Teacher to join our client school in Welwyn Garden City. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to inspire students and help them develop a love for mathematics while ensuring their academic success. The ideal candidate will be a creative and engaging teacher, committed to providing the highest quality education and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential).
-Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages students to excel in Maths.
-Provide clear explanations and support to students of all abilities, ensuring that they understand key mathematical concepts.
-Track and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to both students and parents.
-Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, providing additional support where necessary.
-Promote a love of Maths and develop students' problem-solving, analytical, and logical thinking skills.
-Contribute to the development and review of the Maths curriculum and teaching materials.
-Participate in school events, parent consultations, and staff development opportunities.
-Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the school.
About You:
-A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
-A passion for teaching Maths and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
-Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5 experience is a plus).
-Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in an accessible way.
-A proactive approach to teaching, with the ability to engage students and create a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
-Strong organisational and time-management skills.
-A commitment to ongoing professional development and self-improvement.
