Job Description:
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Teacher to join our team in Rugby, Warwickshire. This position is for a Year 6 class and requires someone with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional education and preparing students for their transition to secondary school.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the Year 6 curriculum and prepare students for SATs examinations.
Provide targeted support and intervention to ensure the academic progress and attainment of all students.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes independent thinking, resilience, and a love for learning.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to support the overall well-being and success of students.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment data, using this information to inform future teaching and learning strategies.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Year 6 students.
Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs examinations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
