Job description
Are you an experienced Year 6 teacher looking for a rewarding role with smaller class sizes? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Year 6 Teacher to work with small groups of students in CV1. This is a great chance to provide focused and tailored teaching in a supportive and dedicated school environment, with full teaching duties until the end of the academic year.About the Role:
As a Year 6 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to small groups of students, ensuring they are well-prepared for their SATs and the transition to secondary school.
Your duties will include:
Planning, delivering, and assessing lessons tailored to meet the needs of small groups of Year 6 students.
Providing targeted interventions and support to ensure students reach their full potential.
Monitoring and tracking student progress, and adapting teaching methods where necessary.
Creating an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity and effective support across the school.
Upholding all safeguarding responsibilities and maintaining high standards of student welfare.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
Experience working with Year 6 pupils and preparing them for SATs is highly desirable.
Ability to commit to a full-time position until the end of the academic year.
Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures.
