Youth Worker Transitioning into SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: Kidderminster
Aspire Agency is looking for an experienced Youth Worker to transition into a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant role within a specialist school in Kidderminster.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a background in youth work, mentoring, or supporting young people with additional needs to apply their skills in an educational setting.
Role Details:
* Location: Kidderminster
* Schedule: 5 days per week, term-time only
* Start Date: ASAP
* Contract Type: Ongoing temp-to-perm opportunity
* Transport: Must drive, as there is no public transport to the school
What We Are Looking For:
* Experience as a Youth Worker, Mentor, or supporting young people with additional needs
* A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to working with students
* Ability to assist with behaviour management, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning
* Experience with Makaton, PECS, or sensory learning strategies is desirable but not essential
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
