Role Overview:
The school is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of School to lead our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be QTS have a solid background in managing educational settings, particularly those specializing in SEMH. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our students by shaping the direction and development of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the school, ensuring the highest standards of education and care for our pupils.
Develop and implement strategies to engage students who have had negative previous experiences with education.
Oversee the delivery of a curriculum that addresses both academic and pastoral needs.
Work collaboratively with families to support students' reintegration into a positive learning environment.
Manage and mentor staff, fostering a supportive and effective team.
Monitor and evaluate student progress and the effectiveness of the school's approach.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a leadership role within an educational setting, with a focus on SEMH.
Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities effectively.
A commitment to creating a nurturing and inclusive school environment.
